Tipsters Review - November 4, 2019

Today’s Horse Racing Tips

Todays Racing Tip – ZEB SPIRIT
Time & Track – 2.30 Wetherby (01/11)
Best Odds – 6/1 @ Betfair

Stake – 1pt win

Analysis – Didn’t show much on the level when trained in Ireland but the switch in yards to Olly Murphy accompanied with hurdles has seen this three-year old in a better light. He won on hurdles/stable debut at Fontwell before finishing a close second behind Half Bolly the next day and now re-opposes on 8lb better terms. He was in the process of going very close over track and trip the last day before stumbling on landing at the third last when a couple of lengths in front and with a clear round here he surely goes close with Gavin Sheehan back on board. The odds-on favourite is very unexposed on first start for Tom George having arrived from France so could be anything, but I’m happy to take him on.

Todays Racing Tip – BORN SURVIVOR
Time & Track – 3.05 Wetherby (01/11)
Best Odds – 3/1 @ 888Sport

Stake – 1pt win

Analysis – Has won at this meeting the last two seasons, including this race last year off a 13lb lower mark though bolted up by seven-lengths when last seen at Ayr’s Scottish National meeting back in April. The best time to catch this horse tends to be after a break of over 100 days (1-2-1-1-1) and seems versatile in regards to the ground. This is his first start after a wind op so hopefully that can have a positive effect on the eight-year old and if so he can stretch is unbeaten course record to four.

Todays Racing Tip – IN ARREARS
Time & Track – 3.50 Uttoxeter (01/11)
Best Odds – 6/1 @ Bet365

Stake – 1pt win

Analysis – Multiple point winner as well as two hunter chase successes achieved in the spring all over 3m (twice on good, three times on soft). This mare won very well when dominating from the front at Exeter back in March and if handed an easy lead here she may well be able to apply those tactics again in this small field. Bryan Carver (2/3 on this horse) is able to negate 7lb with his claim which will help the top-weight on handicap debut and if ready to roll after a five-month break I think she’s slightly overpriced, especially if getting into a nice rhythm up front, particularly if handed that lead.

Result – Non Runner

Todays Racing Tip – SAWWAAH
Time & Track – 4.00 Newmarket (01/11)
Best Odds – 13/2 @ Betfair

Stake – 1pt win

Analysis – This four-year old arrives on the back of a classified success at Ascot at the beginning of last month over this trip on soft ground and has only gone up a pound in the ratings. That puts him on a 5lb higher mark than for his only handicap success so far but he’s a pound lower than when beaten a head in this contest last year (again on soft ground) and with conditions in favour he looks likely to be a key player. His course form reads well 1-1-3-3 and the blinkers remain on having worn them for the first time at Ascot recently, if they again have the desired effect I’d be hopeful that he goes close.
