Analysis – He’s a 2 times winner including once over CD from stall 14 the same draw he has here.That win was 12 months ago off 78 today he runs off just 65 with 7lb claimer taking him down to 58 20lb below last years win. Over CD he has had 5 runs finishing 2-4-1-5-13 that 13 th last time was a class 4 0-80 today is a class 5 0-70 so much lower grade. He ran well until weakening last 150yds, several runners in that race have gone on to win next time.

Analysis – A class 6 0-55 where I had a choice between Imperial Legend and Vecheka. I’ve given IL enough chances now and he will fall in againsometime soon maybe today in this grade but at the odds the 28-1 on offer for Vecheka looked better EW value. He ran well at Musselburgh 3 runs back at 66-1 beaten only 3L before a poor show over same CD. Last time out over 5F at Catterick in an amateur riders race he ran well to be 6th a few lengths behind Imperial Legend.That was off 47 now 1lb lower with a 5lb claimer on. He’s run 3 times on the AW all here at Newcastle a 2nd over 6F off 50, 7th over 5F off 54 and then 14/14 over 7F off 54. There is a very short priced fav here which means we get decent ew odds on others he really should be good enough to make the top 3.

Analysis – Not the biggest price in the world but I left him out last night as he was only 4-1 since then he’s now 11-2 with Big Easy a 4-1 shot a NR so does now represent far better value at those odds. We did him here 2 runs ago in the Cesarewich trial race where he ra a stormer at 50-1 then next time at Goodwood in the NH jockeys race he ran well but couldn’t peg back the easy winner. He runs this track well and should be in the shake up I’m happy to take 11-2.

Analysis – Left her out as she was only 9-2 which didn’t look that tempting now she’s out to 7-1 that does make her worth doing ew. She loves this track and runs it well. She didn’t run too well last time out but that was back on turf and a short gap bewteen her runs. She’s now had 27 days off back to the CD and in a lower grade with a 7lb claimer on board without doubt her easist chance yet.
