Analysis – Returns after a short break and was last seen scoring in a 0-105 handicap over this track and trip and from 4lb higher should remain competitive now dropping down into a 0-85. He is only a pound higher than when successful here last November, again over C&D, and has won from a 2lb higher mark on the turf so looks handicapped to go well. Gabriele Malune was on board the last day and keeps the ride (claims his 5lb again) and if coping with a wide draw I’d be a little surprised if he doesn’t at least get in the places.

Analysis – Ran with consistency last season when sent chasing winning in this grade at Wincanton before signing off the campaign with a class 2 victory at Sandown in good style over 2m4f. He was stepped up to 2m7f on return last month wehn tailed off in a higher grade and the form of that race is working out well with three winners already coming out of it. This seven-year old should have more to come as a second season chaser so the combination of a drop in trip/grade along with the presence of Robbie Power in the saddle could see this son of Yeats get back on track from an 8lb higher mark with the ground coming right for him.
