Analysis – Winner of 3 races 2 of which were off 88 the same mark as today having been over the 100’s at one point. He didn’t run very well on debut last season but that was over 8.5F, he followed that with a run over 5F when 2nd to Arctic Feeling. He ran a cracker when 2nd over 6F at Doncaster to Handsome Dude and last time out when 9th to the ill fated Boomerang Bob.

Analysis – War Deparment bolted up over CD last week with Bouclier back in 3rd. It was very evident that Bouclier was given an easy ride that night and that does make it dangerous to assume he’ll run better here but with O.Murphy replacing A.Rawlinson he reopposes on 3lb better terms, not enough to reverse the placings but with a more aggressive ride he could certainly go close.

Analysis – Winner of 5 races all over 6 or 7F off marks between 60-66 so todays &f off 61 looks ideal for him to get his head back in front. He has his work cut out with our winner from 3 weeks ago Mr Potter in the field but it was a better run last time out when 5th at Wolverhampton just 1/2L behind Wednesday winner Wink Oliver. He’s been dropped 2lb for that run so must nw be capable of a bold show.

Analysis – A winner of just 1 race over 9f off 56 now off 55 with P.Makin back on board. Needs to bounce back to some form after several poor runs over hurdles but this is a very weak race that won’t take very much winning so provided he can run to the level of that Hamilton win he should run better than his odds would suggest.

Analysis – A tricky 18 runner 2m4 0-100 h’cap hurdle on heavy ground to start the day. The one I’ve gone with we did last time out at Taunton where he forced the pace for the first 2 miles of the rcae then weakened out of it having probably done too much. He’s won on this course over fences, he’s won on heavy ground, he’s also down 4lb for that last run at Taunton so now off 79 with in form C.Gethings riding he should run well provided he dopesn’t do too much early on. I did like Eddy here but had to ditch him once I saw his sole run on heavy he pulled up and all his decent runs were on good ground so although he’s very well treated the conditions are very much against him.
