Today’s Horse Racing Tips

Todays Racing Tip – ENOLA GAY
Time & Track – 1.15 Wincanton (09/11)
Best Odds – 4/1 @ Bet365

Stake – 1pt win

Analysis – A six-year old who should be open to more improvement this season and if ready after a break then he should be going close, especially as Venetia Williams has got her string in good form. His best two runs arguably have come over this C&D, beaten just under a length by Molineaux at the beginning of the year before going one better in April when a six-length winner off a 6lb lower mark. He had Saintemilion back in third that day and he’s one who has a chance in this but I think this gelding can confirm that running providing he’s fully tuned up. This is his first run after a wind op, so that’s taken on trust whether or not it’ll have a positive effect but with his good course form along with the current yard form I can see him going well, Hugh Nugent takes a handy 3lb off his back.

Todays Racing Tip – LITTERALE CI
Time & Track – 1.50 Wincanton (09/11)
Best Odds – 16/1 @ Sky Bet (4 places)

Stake – 0.5pt ew

Analysis – Reverts back to hurdling after a chase success on reappearance and that victory reads well, beating a couple of higher-rated rivals. She’s won five of her 14 starts in the national hunt sphere which is a good strike-rate and is partnered by Aine O’Connor (claims 5lb), who loves this horse having won 4/8 on her. This is a career high mark but arrives a race-fit and in-form horse and she’s been placed on both occasions when visiting this course, including when second in this race last year. Harry Fry has won two of the last six runnings of this and though he has two in this I’m favouring this bigger-priced horse to run into a place at least.

Result – Placed +1.3

Time & Track – 3.05 Kelso (09/11)
Best Odds – 10/3 @ Sky Bet

Stake – 1pt win

Analysis – Lightly-raced with just the two runs over hurdles but ran well when fourth here the last day over 2m on soft and this gelding also ran well in a soft ground bumper at Haydock last season when second behind a useful sort. He now makes his handicap debut off a nice mark and the step up in trip should suit with him being a son of Milan, so I can see this five-year old going close for a yard who does well with their hurdlers here.
