Analysis – This is my Ante-Post nap of the whole meeting. Although he’s yet to win a race over hurdles or in NH Flat races he has some form which stacks up with the very best but yet is rated just 127. His 2nd to NH flat fancy Acey Milan who has won by wide margins 3 times looks all the better now and could look even better if he were to win the Cheltenham bumper. His subsequent 2nds to Storm Home and Jurby are decent enough form but his stand out runwas his 4th to Redicean at Kempton last time out. Held up well off the pace and intentionally slowly away so he could settle. After 1/2 way he was tanking along so well that he jumped through to lead, was still pulling too hard for his own good.he ran wide off the home bend losing some ground and after Jumping the 2nd last he was outpaced by the Triumph hurlde hope who is rated 150 now and beaten only 17L by him. The likely strong pace will enable him to settle better plus the bigger field will give him the cover he needs which will hopefully give me yet another AP winning nap.

Analysis – Would have made my final 4 for my brothers Trends guide but having multiple entries at the meeting and being 1 of 12 for his trainer in the race,he was put down as a bonus selection. He has good class back form amd after a very lengthy break he came back and ran well in a Graded race. Now trying h’capping he could cause a big shock here if coming on for that last run, the form of which looks very good.

Time & Track – 2.50 CHELTENHAM (WED)
Best Odds – 25-1 & 50-1 7 PLACES
Analysis – Although I’m very keen on Abbyssial for this race both of these 2 are way overpriced in my opinion. Red Indian ran a cracker at Kempton in the Lanzarote when a good 3rd to William Henry but was a little disappointing at Towcester when odds on last time though that was a small field I’m sure this bigger field and truer pace will suit him much better. The other Dusky Legend has been chasing but last time was 7L 3rd to the very talented mare Marias Benifit in a Grade 2 hurdle. That was over 2m where his best form is at and around 2m4 so this longer trip should be ideal and looks overpriced for a King/Hutchinson runner.

Best Odds – 28-1 5 PLACES
Analysis – just in case the nap under performs for whatever reason I’m doing my ew alternative as well. You can get 33-1 but only 4 places his form is good enough to suggest he can be involved in teh finish although well beaten last time out it was a very small field in bottomless ground at Exeter. This bigger field stronger paced race will suit him better and hopefully will fill a place behind Grand Sancy this weeks NAP>

Best Odds – 16-1
Analysis – One from the 20 to follow AW h’cappers list who hasn’t yet run since the list was produced but has run over hurdles in the meantime. Now back on the AW on his best track but over a longer distance than what he has won over so a little concerned with the trip but Nicola Curie is booked to take 5lb off.

Todays Racing Tip – URGENT DE GREGAINE
Time & Track – 4.10 CHELTENHAM (WED)
Best Odds – 18-1
Analysis – Not a h’cap anymore but a race I’ve always loved and had plenty of success in in particular A New Story who won the race in 2010 at 40-1 for me as well as placed several times. Also tipped Any Currency a few times when placed and winning. I tip Blessed The Wings when he won earlier in the season but I’m opposing him with the 50-1 shock winner from last season who ran a good 3rd earlier this season when outpaced by the winner Kingswell Theatre with quite a few of these in behind. He looks to have a decent ew chance.
