Todays Racing Tip – FLASH CITY
Time & Track – 4.00 BEVERLEY (WED)
Best Odds – 16-1

Analysis – A class 5 0-75 5F h’cap on soft ground. The selection has won 5/83 but has 16 2nds and 12 3rds, all the wins are over 5F on good/firm to good/soft though he does have lots of placed efforts on soft ground so I don’t think the ground will be any excuse. He’s 2lb below his last winning mark and did run a very good 3rd just 2 races back on soft ground at Pontefract. He is difficult to win with as his number of 2nds & 3rds shows but he is a reliable 9yo who should run his race from a decent draw in stall 2.

Result – Placed

Todays Racing Tip – TAAJUB
Time & Track – 1.30 SANDOWN (WED)
Best Odds – 9-1

Analysis – WE did him last week when 2nd over CD but he was a little eratic in the last 2 furlongs, now with blinkers on for only the 2nd time in his 77 race career. Hector Crouch again takes the ride and he’s off the same mark so should again run his race.

Result – Placed

Todays Racing Tip – CLONDAW BANKER
Time & Track – 5.00 KELSO (WED)
Best Odds – 33-1

Analysis – The fav here Red Giant “won” the void race at Perth and runs off the same mark here so technically is a winner without a penalty but his form prior to that was poor and that Perth race was a 1mile step up in trip so this is nearly a 1/2mile shorter which isnt sure to suit so he is opposable. The one I’ve done was a 120 rated hurdler and now off 105 over fences has an outside chance on one or two bits of form. the trip and ground should be ok for him so worth an ew bet against this fav.

Result – Lost

Todays Racing Tip – OUTLAW JOSE WALES (NAP)
Time & Track – 5.30 KELSO (WED)
Best Odds – 33-1

Analysis – A 16 runner Class 5 0-100 2m2f h’cap hurdle where the one I like at a decent ew price is Outlaw Josey Wales who has run just 10 times 2 NH flat races and 8 hurdles. He’s managed one 2nd place over 2m on good ground at Perth. The winner of that race was a 135 rated W.Mullins horse and 3L behind him was a 120 rated Gordon Elliot runner. OJW runs off just 89 here.initially given a h’cap mark of 103 over 2m4 follwed by 2 novice runs then back into h’cap off 95 on good/soft ground, the same ground was a reason for being a NR last time at Hexham. Now back up to 2m2 off just 89 on good ground he does look like a lively outsider. Unfortunately I missed the 40-1 at B365 but got 33-1 so a big run is hoped for.
