Analysis – One from the 20 AW h’cappers to follow list over a CD that does suit him but last twice he’s had wide draws and runs wide off the bend giving himself no chance thereafter. Again here he has a terrible draw in stall 11 which means either a wide run on try and tuck in and run for luck. He’s well enough treated to win but that draw is a major worry.

Analysis – I’ve only just noticed that a reserve from the 20 to follow list at No.22 Coral Princess is down to run in a 1 mile h’cap. As I only have the 1 for Friday I’m going to put this reserve up as well though she is 6lb wrong in the h’cap here and effectively 8lb wrong in total as her h’cap mark has been reduced to 43 so she has a lot to do here on her first run at Southwell. She did however run very well over 1m1 at Musselburgh on good/firm and again at Ayr behind my 25-1 winning nap The Kings Steed on heavy ground beaten only 2L. She’s yet to win from 15 runs but all her runs at 1m or further are better than her runs at 7f so it might be this track suits her better than Newcastle last time out. It’s one of those that she could run well at 40-1 or be right out the back as is the way at Southwell.
