Analysis – I really like the look of this one today and quite franklt I’m amazed she’s 20-1. She won for us on the AW back in November at Newcastle off a mark of 77 and prior to that this 11 times winner won off 77-79-78-76-67-65-64-58-57 in h’caps. The 7yo now runs off 73 so below her last 5 winning marks which makes 20-1 look huge today plus last time she ran in a class 5 company was in July 2014 some 44 races ago(she won that day). Her last 3 runs have been 4/10 in class 3 at Musselburgh, 8/11 at Hamilton class 2 and 7/10 class 3 Ascot so today represents quite a considerable drop in class. Ground doesn’t seem to matter to her with 3 wins on good/firm 3 on good a good/soft soft and heavy plus 2 AW wins so todays forecast good/firm looks ideal.

Analysis – He was running well last year when placed off marks of 79 & 77 in big field h’caps on soft ground. So far in 2017 he’s had 3 runs and been well beaten in all 3 but here he has soft ground again after 2 runs on good/firm plus he has first time blinkers and dropped 5lb from the start of the season to 71. I had him only 10-1 in my betting forecast so 25-1 looks massive with so much in his favour and he nearly was todays nap.

Analysis – I napped him last week over CD where he was ridden very wide of the field the whole way round giving away plenty of ground. David Allen replaces Rachael Richardson and blinkers replaces the cheek pieces. He has won several races in the blinkers so that head gear change looks a positive move, if there is a negative its stall 12 as he could end up wide again unless his jockey can get him tucked in.

Analysis – He won his maiden over 7F but has won twice in hc’aps over the minimum trip including one over CD. Both h’caps wins have come in Class 5 company off marks of 73 & 75 today in class 5 0-75 off 75 the first time back in this grade since that last win having been in class 4 off marks in the 80’s. His jockey Phil Dennis takes a further 5lb off of his back as well.

Analysis – We were on this one 2 races back over 2m1 at Perth when beaten 27L holding every chnace turning for home, he was declared to run the following day over 2m4 but pulled out. He did however run over 2m4 at Perth on his next run when beaten a lot further. He’s only had 6 hurdle runs so can still find some improvement, he’s had 67 days off since that last run and been dropped 5lb to 80. Brian Hughes rides him here and the stables other runner is ridden by the trainers daughter. Its not a great quality race and if he’s fit enough then I can see him running a lot better here and 25-1 is too big to leave alone.

Analysis – Ran well over CD last week for us when 3rd at 16-1 he battled on really well that day once headed and if able to build on that run should again be fighting out the finish.

Analysis – One we have done before who is becoming a little frustrating, he runs a great race one week then a shocker then another great effort, so its fair to say we don’t know which New Decade will turn up today but if its the going one he is certainly good enough and well enough treated to win this race.
