Analysis – Didn’t show much when with Alan King, but after a successful period pointing (3/5) she returned to rules action with a couple of novice hurdle victories on first two outings for Henry Daly (one of which came over this 2m3f trip). Has since ran well enough in two handicap hurdles and I think it’s a good move to go chasing with her point-to-point record to back that up. Richard Johnson takes the ride and has a 100% record on the mare from two outings and has the potential to go close.

Analysis – Four times a chase winner which includes a Grade 2 success over C&D at this two-day meeting back in 2017 and his one handicap success came from a 4lb higher mark. He was a decent fourth in this same race last year when conceding plenty of weight all round and he’s now 6lb lower than for that run. A similar tale came the last day at Wetherby over Christmas when carrying plenty of weight, he was beaten just over two-lengths and is able to run off the same mark here, and he’s 4lb better off with that winner. Has the ability to go very close here and Danny Cook is back on board for a trainer currently operating at a 29% strike-rate in the past fortnight.

Analysis – Has returned from a break with two solid efforts in defeat, the latest coming on handicap debut where he was beaten only half-a-length and there’s a few pieces of good form to have come out of that contest since. He’s up 4lb but is very unexposed and this step up in trip could bring out further improvement (was still travelling well here over 2m3f when falling 3 out). The yard won this race a couple of years back and Jonjo O’Neill jnr, who’s ridden some good winners recently, claims a handy 5lb. Very open race but could go well.

Analysis – The form of his first three runs under rules have all been boosted and he kept on very well at the line when winning a maiden at Fakenham last month. Made an encouraging handicap debut at the same course next time when beaten just over four-lengths, he’s been eased a pound for that and the step up to the extended 3m looks a good move as he was a very good second in a point-to-point behind recent Grade 2 winner Beakstown. Daryl Jacob a positive jockey booking.
