Tipsters Review - November 27, 2018

Today’s Horse Racing Tips

Todays Racing Tip – VAL MOME

Time & Track – 2.25 Musselburgh (26/11)
Best Odds – 4/1 @ Paddy Power

Stake – 2pt win

Analysis – Had run some good races in defeat against higher rated rivals in maiden/novice events at Bangor before beating a couple of future winners at the same venue at the beginning of October. Wouldn’t have enjoyed the fact there were only the four hurdles to jump on handicap debut at Kelso last time (jumps nicely), was second at the last (usual three out) and got outpaced on the long run-in. Has had his wind done since that and might be the answer in a race that might not take much winning (only 3/9 have won under rules).

Todays Racing Tip – NYLON SPEED

Time & Track – 3.40 Kempton (26/11)
Best Odds – 5/1 @ Betfair

Stake – 1pt win

Analysis – Joined Alan King from Germany back in August and after scoring on stable debut on the all-weather he followed that up with victory over hurdles, beating a subsequent winner in the process. He was a held second the last day at Huntingdon though the form of that has substance to it too as the winner was third in a listed event at Haydock on Saturday and the third won a decent class 3 handicap at Sandown by six-lengths. He has the assistance of the talented Fergus Gregory and the yard are currently operating at a 23% strike-rate over the past month.

Todays Racing Tip – ROBINSHILL

Time & Track – 1.40 Ludlow (26/11)
Best Odds – 9/2 @ Paddy Power

Stake – 1pt win

Analysis – Has been comprehensively beaten on his last four outings though they were all in higher grades including both the Arkle at the Festival as well as the Grade 3 Red Rum at Aintree where realistically he had no chance. He’s now dropped back into a 0-135 in a race in which he won last year from a 2lb higher mark with Zac Baker (claiming 5lb) on board and he again takes the ride (2/3 on the gelding). He was beaten by just half-a-length from this mark of 135 in a class 2 at Sandown last january and a return to this venue, where he has won twice over C&D and would have been three if it wasn’t for an unseat at the last, may spark a revival with him lurking on a dangerous looking mark.

Todays Racing Tip – THE OGLE GOGLE MAN

Time & Track – 1.05 Ludlow (26/11)
Best Odds – 13/2 @ Unibet

Stake – 1pt win

Analysis – Yet to win under rules from nine starts but has shown promise on a couple of those outings, most notably when third on chase debut in February in a 0-120 from a mark of 113. Form has taken a dip since then but returned with a fair second behind a subsequent scorer over the extended 3m2f and that trip may have stretched him. Back down to 3m for this which is the same trip he won a point-to-point over beating the now 125-rated De Name Evades Me by four-lengths. He’s been dropped to a mark of 94 now and the booking of Noel Fehily for the first time suggests connections might be confident of a big run with ground in favour also.
