Analysis – He’s a 3 times 3mile PTP winner who in 25 runs under rules has only runonce over 3m and that was on debut when 2nd beaten 1L. His PTP wins were also on good or good/firm going so todays 3m trip on good ground looks ideal and with 5 of the 10 runners being aged 10+ there is very little unexposed form here. Under rules in those 25 runs he has won twice once here over 2m and once over 2m4 at Leicester again on good or good/firm going.

Analysis – Won for us at Redcar last May in a 17 runner h’cap over 1m on good/firm off 70 then went on to win a further 2 races at Nottinham over 1m+ and 7F at Redcar both on good/firm off 75 & 80. Now off 76 on good/firm with 5lb claimer taking some of the 10st3 off his back. He’s won 6/49 on turf with13 placed runs but 0/11 with just 1 3rd on the AW. Whilst I see he’s not in teh same form as this time last year I think 40-1 is a massive over price for a hrse that does have a genuine form chance if able to repeat last seasons form. BFSB were 40-1 but cut him straight after my bet though PP have retained the price for now(4.45pm)

Analysis – I had this as a 2 horse races for my betting purposes the other being Mercers Row 50-1 is way over priced, but I had to stick with my original selection who runs here off 58 the same mark as his last win when winning Class 6 5F good/firm at Musselburgh. He’s a 5 times winner 4 on turf off marks of 47-52-60-58 so can be competitve off todays mark and from a decent low draw.

Analysis – We’ve done him the last twice on the AW where he ran well first time we did him at 50-1 and then just a few days later was travelling best turning in but ran on all too late to be 6th closing the leaders down at the end, gets an extra furlong today . He should run well against this oposition though the worry is the 5 3yos running including the fav who get the weight for age allowance.

Analysis – Getting on a bit now as a 10yo but still showed he retains enough ability to win something low grade. They don’t get much lower than this in terms of quality. He’s a CD winner who runs from 1lb out the h’cap but that won’t make much difference here. Ran well last time out over CD where he weakened entering the final furlong to lose a few places late on. A few things in his favour so 25-1 worth an ew punt!! GL
