Analysis – Only ran 2 days ago in the Carlisle Bell consolation race where he was beaten 12L into 10th place behind Showboating. He’s on a long losing run but is a winner of 10/58 on turf on all grounds from good/firm to heavy. This is a significant drop in grade from Wednesdays run but off the same mark of 67. He has shown that he retains a level of ability and he will pop up at some stage 33-1 was too big to ignore.

Analysis – A real stab in the dark, he was a wiinner for us at Market Rasen nearly 12 months ago where he was a difficult ride needing riding along for nearly the whole 3m trip. Thats a risky stratgy here at Cartmel as you doing nothing but gallop. We really need all 8 to stand there ground for ew bets. His 2 wins have been off 104 & 94 so todays mark of 88 makes him worth an ew bet and hope he puts his best foot forward and Emma Todd claiming 7 will earn her fee here.

Analysis – A fav of mine who has won several times for me inc one over CD last August. That win was off 118 today 122 but he has run well in defeat off this mark. He ran a decent race at Hexham last time out that was on the back of a very heavy fall at Ayr which showed there was no loss of confidence from such a heavy tumble. Brian Hughes gets on very well with him at his trainer James Moffat does well at the track. Fav Sailors Warn won well last time at Stratford but he is up 7lb for that plus his 2 previous runs he was beaten in 2 sellers this is class 2 0-140 h’cap he really could struggle to back that win up.

Analysis – The last runner for June and i’m looking to go out with a winner. We all know how much his owner Dr Marwan Koukash likes to have a Chester winner. Trainer R.Fahey is 12/107 11% in last 14 days. The horse himself won 3 on the bounce last summer off 70-75-80 the last 2 being over CD but he’s a 3 times course winner in total. His course record reads 1-6-2-7-1-1-6-0-6-8 with those last 4 runs off marks of 88-88-88-82 all well above his highest winning mark now back down to 78 from stall 3 on ground thats suits him well he really must runa big race and gets the nap vote.
