Saturday 12th March – Hugh Doyle ‘KOTP’ – WON

Tipsters Review - March 14, 2022

Hugh Doyle ‘KOTP’ Selections

1.50 Sandown

1 point each way Thunder Rock (11/2 Bet 365/ Paddy power/ William Hill, 5 places) – LOST

I really like Thunder Rock in here for Olly Murphy and Adrian Heskin. He has rock solid form and is still improving with every run and I feel a mark of 129 is not beyond him. The form that really stands out is his win against Cobblers Dream by 3 ½ lengths at Wetherby who then went on to win the Lanzarote by 5 ½ lengths. Thunder Rock followed that up by an easy win at Musselburgh before beating Dorking Lad last time at Huntingdon. Dorking Lad franked that form by finishing second to Bold Plan next time out going down by ¾ a length

1 point each way Complete Unknown (22/1 Paddy power/ Betfair/ William Hill, 5 places) – WON

We also have an each way bet on the Paul Nicholls outsider Complete Unknown. He was a bumper winner in Ireland for Jonathan Fogarty beating the 200k Deploy The Getaway of Willie Mullins. He has been running consistently over hurdles and has been very unlucky not to have at least won twice. If he can improve his jumping and get into a good rythem I can see him running into the places. He stayed on strongly at Ascot over 2m5f on soft so any rain would be in his favour.
