Analysis – A winner of 7 of his 28 career races but without a win for over a year now. He’s won 5 of his 19 chase races and his only PTP race. The interesting
factor here for me is he’s only won twice in a h’cap off marks of 118 – 127 the latter by 10L over 3m at Chepstow. In his last 9 races 8 of them have
been Class 2 or better the other was a runaway victory in Class 4, today is Class 3 after he got dropped 4lb from his last run at Cheltenham. That
race was over 2m4 which is on the short side for him, Astracad was able to dominate the race that day and with Cody Wyoming who was 4th home winning
by 12L next time out at Lingfield and pulled up when tailled of was todays Cheltenham winner Eastlake and the 6th home has since finished 2nd at Taunton
so the form really stands up well.

Analysis – A truely shocking race to start the card a Class 5 0-100 h’cap where the top weight is rated just 89 and the bottom weight must be the lowest
NH horse in training rated just 34. The one I like is a very speculative one as he’s failed to complete in any of his last 4 races and has never
won a race. He has finished 2nd 4 times including PTP from his 19 career races all over this kind of trip. He initially was given a mark of 85
and did run 2nd of 80 in his first h’cap chase. Sent off fav next time out he ran a shocker over 3m2 at Kelso. Since then he’s been 300-1 for a
hurdle and 150-1 for h’cap chase last time out only 3 days ago when UR at the very first fence. The time before over 3m2 at Doncaster he ran an
ok race leading until headed 3 out and UR at the last when a distant 5th. He does have blinkers 1st time and Callum Bewley claiming 3lb for the
first time and might just run better than his odds suggest. The Jugopolist won well when well backed last time his first chase win in 29 attempts,
he was 10lb wrong in the h’cap that day and even with his 7lb penalty he’s able to run off a 3lb lower mark but will be back up that run and would
you want to take 3-1 not sure I would!!

Analysis – A little frustrated that I missed the 20-1 that was on offer 1st thing, that was clearly way over priced as I had him a 5-1 chance here.
He won over CD on similar ground off a 1lb lower mark last April. That was the last time he ran over 2m4 since then he’s been running over 2m or
3m or even 3m2 outpaced over 2 not the stamina for 3m2 its interesting that now hos mark has come down from 115 to 109 he gets the right trip again.
I reckon he’ll lead them all the way here unchallenged.

Analysis – A winner of 4 races 3 of which were over hurdles in Class 4 h’caps off marks of 107-107-114. He must have a leading chance here below
his lowest ever winning mark on ground and trip that suit him ideally. His amateur rider has ridden 2 winners so far this NH season and he
claims another valuable 5lbs off the 11yos back.
