Analysis – Went down by the narrowest of margins when beaten by the re-opposing Delph Crescent at Hamilton recently and is a pound better off with that rival here. The form of his last two seconds have been franked and the way he’s finished those races suggested that this step up in trip should suit. He’s versatile ground-wise and with further improvement likely on just his fourth handicap start he should run a nice race.

Analysis – Landed a double in the spring with victories at Stratford and Ffos Las and stepped forward again when fourth in this grade at Worcester back in June. This mare has been given a little break and arrives here on the same mark as that most recent outing and with the assistance of her 5lb-claimer Aine O’Connor, who has struck up a nice rapport having won 3/5 on the five-year old, she should go well again with ground not an issue and likely more improvement now upped slightly in trip.

Analysis – Silvestre De Sousa has been on board for this colt’s three victories and again takes the ride here. He won twice over this trip before finishing fourth twice since over the extended 1m2f (one of those was in a Group 3) and recent effort back handicapping suggested that there still may be another win to come from this mark of 103. He’s back to 1m2f for this and finished 2nd on only previous visit here and his weight-for-age allowance could be a big factor.
